The third MuTaLig Training School, entitled “CA15135 multi-targeting Biophysical Training School”, will be organized in order to identify young talented researchers and to increase their participation in the Action activities, especially in WG2. The focus of this Training School will be to explore the principles underlying target identification, biochemical and cell-based assay development, small molecule screening and in vitro ADME-Tox profiling as part of lead optimization to endow compounds with multi-targeting activity.
It will be held in Hamburg at the Fraunhofer-IME location from 5 to 7 December 2018, with a limited number of trainees.
A second edition of the TS will be held from 6 to 8 March 2019, with a second set of selected participants.
Specific outputs of the training school will be:
- Optimize biophysical and biological tests useful for measuring ligand affinities and/or activities
- Establish a chemical catalog program
