Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC) Conference Grants allow any e-COST participant, who is a PhD student or an Early Career Investigator (ECI) and affiliated with an institution located in an ITC country, to submit an application request. The following countries are considered ITC: Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Croatia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Republic of Serbia and Turkey.
The application must be submitted at least 45 days before the conference start date, and within the deadline indicated at the end of this page.
The applicant must be engaged in an official research program as a PhD Student or postdoctoral
fellow.
The MC Chair performs the evaluation of each received Conference Grant (CG) application.
The tasks include: evaluate applications, approve or reject these applications in e-cost, evaluate the
scientific report after the mission, post-approve or reject the report.
The GH monitors the incoming approved applications, sends the successful applicants their Grant Notification and ensures that all grants are paid within the deadline of 30 days.
The applicant encodes a CG application by loging into e-COST and clicking on the ITC Conference
Grants tab, following the instructions available on line at this web link www.cost.eu/ITC_conferencegrants_userguide. Any already submitted applications are available for consultation in the applicant’s e-COST profile.
The selection will be done tacking into account the following criteria:
- CV of the proposers;
- adherence of the proposals to the MuTaLig COST Action purposes (topic and relevance of the meeting);
- type of proposer’s contribution submitted to or accepted at the meeting (oral communication, poster);
- gender balance of the proposers;
- geographical distribution of the proposers.
To submit your CG application within the fourth grant period and any queries relating to this, please email the MC Chair, Prof. Stefano Alcaro at: alcaro@unicz.it within next July 20th 2019.
